¿Who can apply?
To be eligible, You must have a host/guest that:
- 🙋🏻♂️ Whether it's your son or grandson.
- 🇨🇦 Whether you are a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident.
- 🎂 Be at least 18 years old and live in Canada.
- 💰 Meet certain income/financial requirements (available on the Government website).
- ✉️ Sign a letter inviting you to Canada (it has to meet certain requirements).
You will also need to:
- 🌍 Be outside of Canada at the time of application.
- 🩺 Pass an immigration medical exam.
- 🛡️ Have health insurance that meets the necessary requirements.
- 🔙 Prove that you will return to your country of origin at the end of the time you have been approved to be in Canada (the connection to the country of origin and the purpose of the trip are very important).
Note: Dependents cannot be included in the application for this visa.
